INTERNATIONAL RELATIONS
The vision of the office is to become the main entry point and support unit for the overall international activities of University of Dubrovnik, in line with the vision of the University to become the regional leading institution and a recognized international University.
The mission of the office is to:

initiate, evaluate, develop and maintain relationships with partner institutions within EU and worldwide

collect and publish informations about international programmes and projects in higher education
-
promote and encourage the mobility of students, teaching and non-teaching staff
-
assist and supervise the mobility process of foreign students, teaching and non-teaching staff towards University of Dubrovnik (incoming mobility)
-
assist and supervise the mobility process of University of Dubrovnik's students and staff towards partner institutions abroad (outgoing mobility)
-
advise and support the international initiatives and activities of University of Dubrovnik's departments and organizational units
STRATEGIC GOALS OF INTERNATIONAL DEVELOPMENT
The University of Dubrovnik promotes international activities and encourages their implementation into all daily activities of the University. The strategic development of the University is based on its international orientation and its emphasis on the importance of being part of EHEA (European Higher Education Area) and ERA (European Research Area).
Mobility, as part of international cooperation, is one of the most important stakeholders in the further development of University of Dubrovnik.
The action plan and forthcoming activities related to the international activities (2009.-2015.) include the following:

adoption and adjustment of internal organizational structure according to international regulations and EU praxis

implementation and upgrading of infrastructural resources to support international cooperation (incl. housing, distance learning and ICT support)

organization of programmes, studies, modules and subjects taught in foreign languages (English as the priority)

adjustment of Quality Management and Control (QM / QC / QA) according to international standards and regulations
-
promotion of international programmes

establishment of strong relationship between research and education
-
increase of international conferences and workshops
-
increase of international research and industry related projects and programmes (incl. Tempus, Framework Programmes, LLP)
-
increase of mobility of students, teaching and non-teaching staff (incoming and outgoing)
-
extension of the partner institutions network
