Staff mobility

Incoming Staff mobility is a crucial part of UNIDU's international activities. In 2017/2018 UNIDU hosted 91 staff members out of which 26 were on training mobility and 65 on teaching activities.

Training opportunities for staff

With Erasmus+, training opportunities are available to staff working in education, both in teaching and non-teaching capacities.

Training periods abroad can consist of job shadowing, observation periods, professional development courses or specific competence-building events.

Erasmus+ supports training both at education institutions and at relevant organisations operating outside the sector.

If you are interested in training activites at UNIDU you should sned an email to international (a) unidu.hr with training proposal and intened period of training. 

Note: The training period cannot be scheduled during the summer break (during July and August).

Erasmus+ Teaching Mobility: for Academic Staff

Within the European Commission's Erasmus+ Program Key Action 1 – Mobility of Individuals, academic teaching staff may seek Erasmus+ funding for a teaching period at a partner institution abroad. The teaching must be carried out at a Higher Education Institution (HEI) that is a holder of an Erasmus Charter for Higher Education (ECHE) with which international university has signed a bilateral agreement in a specific area of teaching.Teaching staff interested to spend a week or more at UNIDU should email International Office - international (a) unidu.hr with their teaching proposal and the intended period of visit.

Note: Teaching period cannot be scheduled during the exam period (June, July, August, September and February) and Christmas holidays.
