Životopis:
Anamaria Bjelopera rođena je u Dubrovniku gdje je završila osnovnu školu, osnovnu glazbenu školu te srednju Prirodoslovno-matematičku gimnaziju. 2003. godine upisuje Fakultet elektrotehnike i računarstva u Zagrebu. Diplomirala je 2008. godine pod mentorstvom prof. dr. sc. Sonje Grgić na smjeru Radiokomunikacije i profesionalna elektronika. Nakon stjecanja diplome zaposlena je na Odjelu za elektrotehniku i računarstvo Sveučilišta u Dubrovniku gdje trenutno radi kao docentica.

U srpnju 2016. godine obranila je doktorsku disertaciju pod nazivom Uklanjanje degradacije slike primjenom statističkog modela prirodne scene i percepcijske mjere kvalitete slike izrađenu pod mentorstvom prof. dr. sc. Sonje Grgić. Autorica je više znanstvenih radova u časopisima s međunarodnom recenzijom i na međunarodnim skupovima te je autorica jednog poglavlja u knjizi. Znanstveni interes obuhvaća subjektivne i objektivne mjere kvalitete slike, uklanjanje degradacije u slikama, valićnu transformaciju, obradu slike i videosignala, kompresiju videosignala, prijenos televizijskog signala, strojno učenje te kompresiju 3D oblaka točaka.

Tijekom svoga rada na Odjelu za elektrotehniku sudjelovala je u izvođenju 15 kolegija na preddiplomskim studijima Elektrotehničkih i komunikacijskih tehnologija u pomorstvu, Nautike, Pomorskih tehnologija jahta i marina, Brodostrojarstva te Primijenjenog/Poslovnog računarstva te na 4 kolegija na diplomskom studiju Elektrotehničkih i komunikacijskih tehnologija u pomorstvu. Bila je komentorica i mentorica na 18 završnih i diplomskih radova, te je napisala tri znanstvena rada u koautorstvu sa studentima. Kontinuirano sudjeluje u promociji Odjela za elektrotehniku i računarstvo te održava Facebook stranice Odjela. Organizira i vodi studente preddiplomskih i diplomskih studija Elektrotehničkih i komunikacijskih tehnologija u pomorstvu na stručnu ekskurziju u posjetu renomiranim elektrotehničkim tvrtkama i učilištima u Zagrebu. Predstavnica je Odjela za elektrotehniku i računarstvo u Povjerenstvu za unutarnji sustav osiguravanja i unapređivanje kvalitete na Sveučilištu u Dubrovniku.

Trenutno je suradnik na projektu HKO-ELE (project for standardization of qualifications and vocation in electrical engineering), a prethodno je bila suradnik na Obzor 2020 projektu EuConNeCts4 (Advanced 5G validation trials across multiple vertical industries).

Biography/CV:
Anamaria Bjelopera works as an assistant professor at the Department
of Electrical Engineering and Computing, University of Dubrovnik where
she teaches various courses on studies of Marine Electrical Engineering and Communication Technologies and Applied/Business Computing. She received her M.Sc. and Ph.D. degrees in electrical engineering from University of Zagreb, Faculty of Electrical Engineering and Computing, in 2008 and 2016, respectively. Her research interests include picture quality evaluation methods, image and video signal processing and compression, image degradation classification and removal, wavelet transform in image and signal processing, machine learning, different DVB standards, television signal transmission and compression of 3D point clouds. Currently she is a member of project team on a project called HKO-ELE (project for standardization of qualifications and vocation in electrical engineering) financed by European Social Fund. Previously she took a part in Horizon 2020 project EuConNeCts4 (Advanced 5G validation trials across multiple vertical industries) financed by European
commission.
