    ABOUT THE PROGRAM

    The Bachelor’s program in Tourism prepares students for careers in tourism, hospitality, and public management by focusing on high-quality market communication and competitive destination positioning. The curriculum emphasizes economic fundamentals, sustainability, and environmental stewardship, aligning with the principles of ‘new tourism’ and addressing current trends in the industry. Students gain specialized knowledge in tourism products and services, preparing them to meet the needs of private sector businesses such as hotels, resorts, travel agencies, and tourism associations. The program also incorporates an interdisciplinary approach to problem-solving and case studies, ensuring that students are equipped to implement global best practices and navigate the complexities of the tourism sector. With hands-on industry experience and cutting-edge research in areas like digital economy and sustainable tourism, graduates are prepared for impactful roles in a dynamic and competitive global market.

  • ADMISSION REQUIREMENTS

    ADMISSION REQUIREMENTS

    1. Completed High School Education: Minimum grade point average (GPA) of 3.5*. Refer to the List of Foreign Qualifications Sufficient for Applying to Study Programs in Croatia for detailed eligibility criteria.
    2. English Language Proficiency:
      Minimum proficiency at B1 level**, demonstrated by one of the following:
      IELTS Academic: Minimum band score of 5.0.
      TOEFL Essentials: Minimum band score of 7.0.
      TOEFL iBT: Total score of 65, with at least 17 in Writing and no less than 16 in other sections.
    3. Assessment Interview – A mandatory interview to evaluate the candidate’s qualifications and motivation for the program.

    DEGREE AWARDED

    Upon the completion of this undergraduate programme, students are awarded the academic degree of a Bachelor (Baccalaureus) of Business Economics (univ. bacc. oec.).

    Upon the completion of the undergraduate university study program, students can enroll in the graduate university study program.
