Anyone interested in obtaining a degree from the University of Dubrovnik will have access to the most prominent scientists and teachers, out of whom more than a 100 are PhD holders. You will be able to go listen to the lectures of visiting professors from other Croatian universities as well as guest lecturers from numerous European universities. Our state-of-the art classrooms, cabinets, workshops, practical training simulators, modern teaching aids at each Department as well as our specialised libraries and reading rooms vouch for the professional quality of our University.

INTERNATIONAL RECOGNITION

The University of Dubrovnik has been attracting an ever-growing number of teachers and students who wish to spend a part of their studies in Dubrovnik. The University of Palermo, Italy, and the Department of Economics and Business in Dubrovnik perform a joint Double Degree university programme of Economics, Business Economics – Marketing, and Business Economics – Tourism, taught in the English language. This is the first such programme in Croatia enabling students to obtain a degree from both the University of Dubrovnik and from the University of Palermo. Besides having concluding two hundred Erasmus+ cooperation agreements with universities across Europe and the world, the University of Dubrovnik takes pride in the fact that a large number of courses at its Departments are taught in English, German or Italian.

OPENNESS TO THE ECONOMY

From their very first day at the University, our students get familiar with the situation and the needs of the labour market. We organise meetings where our students can meet with business people, such as the ‘Career Week’. We have been constantly fostering our cooperation with representatives of the economy. We thus enable our students to acquire additional knowledge and skillsets through various projects, competitions and their professional practice. Students can gain experience necessary for their future work as well as demonstrate their skills and knowledge to potential employers so that they can get a job upon their graduation.

Besides educational activities, the University of Dubrovnik organizes various student activities, e.g. student trips, sports events (Sports Day / University Games), Career Week, marking of the International Women’s Day, rafting, student paintball tournament, field trips, various student projects, futsal tournament, freshers party, barbecue as well as various concerts.
