  • ABOUT THE PROGRAMME

    ABOUT THE PROGRAMME

The graduate university programme in Maritime Studies generally represents a continuation of the education of seafarers, which is reflected in an intense interconnection of both scientific and professional work. This university study programme meets the needs of the market and of the shipping companies in search of professionals who are able to navigate modern ships and steer modern technical and technological systems. The programme is focused on developing management capabilities and skills for numerous branches of the economy besides the maritime industry as well as for various scientific fields, building thus the foundation for a successful entrepreneurship. Students who graduate from this programme can work in institutions and in companies whose scope of activities is connected with maritime industry and with the management and implementation of the marine traffic process. This programme provides international degree and qualification equivalency, international comparability of the study programme and student and teacher mobility.
