UNDERGRADUATE UNIVERSITY STUDY PROGRAMME
ABOUT THE PROGRAMME
ABOUT THE PROGRAMME
The undergraduate university study programme in Marine Engineering offers theoretical and, to a large extent, practical training. Namely, the Department of Maritime Studies is equipped with all necessary modern teaching aids such as marine engineering simulator, navigation simulator, lifeboat davit for abandon ships drills, fire drills facility, marine engineering lab, computer science lab and training and research vessel ‘Naše more’ (‘Our Sea’).
Besides our permanent teaching staff, students also have the opportunity to attend the lectures of various guest lecturers who have experience in seafaring and marine engineering. The visits of the world leading shipping companies searching for young educated professionals are also quite common.
