Životopis:
Erika Dobroslavić završila je studij nutricionizma te doktorirala na Prehrambeno-biotehnološkom fakultetu Sveučilišta u Zagrebu u sklopu projekta Bioaktivne molekule ljekovitog bilja kao prirodni antioksidansi, konzervansi i mikrobiocidi (KK.01.1.1.04.0093). Tijekom doktorskog istraživanja bavila se izolacijom, inkapsulacijom i biodostupnosti polifenolnih spojeva iz lista lovora, a rad na tom projektu rezultirao je prijavom patenta za tehnološki postupak. Iskustvo je stekla u području ekstrakcije i identifikacije bioaktivnih spojeva iz različitih biljnih izvora i algi, s posebnim interesom za kružnu bioekonomiju.
Dodatno je završila specijalistički studij dermatofarmacije i kozmetologije na Farmaceutsko-biokemijskom fakultetu u Zagrebu, gdje se bavila iskorištavanjem nusproizvoda za proizvodnju aktivnih sastojaka u kozmetici. Trenutno je zaposlena kao suradnica na Interreg projektu BIOBASED – Development support of blue biorefinery in the Adriatic Sea. Autorica je 15 znanstvenih radova te je sudjelovala na brojnim domaćim i međunarodnim kongresima. Uz znanstveno-istraživački rad, aktivna je i u uredničkim aktivnostima te djeluje kao terenski urednik u časopisu Food Technology and Biotechnology, gostujući urednik u časopisu Clean Technologies i mlađi član uređivačkog odbora časopisa Separations.

Biography/CV:
Erika Dobroslavić completed her studies in nutrition and earned a PhD from the Faculty of Food Technology and Biotechnology at the University of Zagreb as part of the project Bioactive Molecules of Medicinal Plants as Natural Antioxidants, Preservatives, and Microbiocides (KK.01.1.1.04.0093). Her doctoral research focused on the isolation, encapsulation, and bioavailability of polyphenolic compounds from bay leaf, and the work conducted within the project resulted in a patent application for a technological process. She has gained experience in the extraction and identification of bioactive compounds from various plant sources and algae, with a particular interest in circular bioeconomy. Additionally, she completed a postgraduate master study in dermopharmacy and cosmetology, where she focused on utilizing by-products for the production of active ingredients in cosmetics. She is currently employed as a research associate on the Interreg project BIOBASED – Development support of blue biorefinery in the Adriatic Sea. She cooauthored 15 scientific papers and has participated in numerous national and international conferences. In addition to her scientific research, she is actively involved in editorial activities, serving as a field editor for the journal Food Technology and Biotechnology, a guest editor for Clean Technologies, and a junior member of the editorial board of Separations.
