The Faculty of Media and Public Relations at the University of Dubrovnik organizes the international scientific conference Dubrovnik Media Days. This conference brings together scholars and professionals in the fields of communication studies, mass media, journalism, public relations, and ICT.
The 17th Dubrovnik Media Days, titled Generative AI: Transforming Journalism, Strategic Communication, and Education, will be held on 22–23 October 2025 in Dubrovnik, followed by a Policy Lab – Information Integrity and Media Literacy on 24 October 2025.

Traditionally held at the end of the year, the conference focuses on current issues in media, journalism, and public relations.
Dubrovnik Media Days is supported by a diverse range of domestic and international institutions, gathering experts and university professors from Croatia and abroad. So far, participants have included scholars from the University of Florida, The Poynter Institute, University of Ljubljana, University of Washington, Akdeniz University (Turkey), University of Novi Sad, University of Zagreb, École supérieure de journalisme de Paris (ESJ), VERN’ University, Deutsche Welle Akademie, University of Beira Interior, University of Sarajevo, University of Tuzla, University of Zagreb, University of Mainz, University of Vienna, and many others.
