The Head of the Maritime Department at the University of Dubrovnik, Assistant Professor Srđan Vujičić, gave a lecture on June 7th before the Scientific Council for Maritime Affairs of the Croatian Academy of Sciences and Arts. The subject of the lecture was “Global Maritime Professional – Body of Knowledge of the International Association of Maritime Universities” (IAMU Global Maritime Professional – Body of Knowledge), given that Vujičić is a member of the working group for the preparation of the revised edition of the Body of Knowledge.

During the lecture, Vujičić presented the historical context of the Body of Knowledge, as well as the mission and goal of such a publication. The IAMU aims to educate experts in the maritime sector at universities that are members of the association, ensuring that maritime professionals acquire the same knowledge and skills regardless of their place of education.
