From 27 to 30 May 2025, the University of Dubrovnik will take part in the NAFSA 2025 Conference & Expo, one of the world’s leading events focused on international education, held this year in San Diego, USA.

The Croatian delegation will include representatives from the Agency for Mobility and EU Programmes (AMPEU), the University of Zagreb, the Josip Juraj Strossmayer University of Osijek, the University of Rijeka’s Faculty of Medicine, and Algebra Bernays University.

The key goals of Croatia’s presence at the conference are to:

• enhance the international visibility of Croatia as a higher education destination

• promote studying in Croatia

• strengthen existing partnerships and establish new academic collaborations.

Croatia’s participation in NAFSA 2025 is organized within the framework of the “Study in Croatia” initiative, led by AMPEU in cooperation with the Ministry of Science, Education and Youth of the Republic of Croatia, aimed at promoting Croatian higher education abroad and encouraging international students to pursue full study programs in Croatia. As part of the stay in the United States, the Consulate General of the Republic of Croatia in Los Angeles has arranged a visit to the Croatian community, where information on study opportunities in Croatia will be presented.

The delegation will also take part in the Statehood Day celebration with the Croatian community in San Pedro.
