Pupils from the Zagreb Carpentry School visited the Department of Arts and Restoration. During their two-day visit, around thirty pupils accompanied by three teachers from their school got to know the work and organisation of the Department. A tour of the workshops was organised (Paper, Wood, Textile and Metal), and pupils had the opportunity to see what the practical part of the teaching looks like. Besides teachers, they also met students of the Department and had the chance to talk to them. They also visited the atelier where they could witness what the lessons from the courses of Painting and Sculpture as well as to see student works.

Some of the ex-pupils of the Zagreb Carpentry School now study at the Department. Besides visiting the Department, prospective future students of the Department had a tour of the entire University Campus and Student Dormitory. During their stay in Dubrovnik, they also visited the Dubrovnik Aquarium and other sites in Dubrovnik. The Zagreb Carpentry School presented a gift to the Department as a token of their appreciation – a hand-made wooden nativity scene.
