
The Department of Economics and Business of the University of Dubrovnik and the Faculty of Economics and Business of the University of Zagreb are organising the first joint ‘FEB-UNIDU Summer Business Academy’, to be held until 9 July at the University of Dubrovnik. Associate Professor Nebojša Stojčić, PhD, Vice Rector for Business Affairs, greeted the attendees at the commencement of the conference.
Summer Business Academy is intended for the students from all around Europe. During five conference days, workshops will be held in three areas: Data Analytics, Emerging Innovations and Sustainability Challenges. Attendees will tackle the current topics in technology innovations in Economics and Business and the challenges that the concept of sustainable development presents. They will get an additional training about the possibilities of applying data analysis in various fields of the science of Economics.
Students had the opportunity to choose the workshops that they would like to attend, such as Neuromarketing, Business & Data Analytics in Sports, Social Innovation, Sustainable Start-ups & Entrepreneurship and many others. The workshops will be held by professors and experts from the Faculty of Economics and Business in Zagreb and the Department of Economics and Business of the University of Dubrovnik.
