  • EMPLOYABILITY

    EMPLOYABILITY

Our Tourism program is designed in close consultation with key industry associations and leading employers, including the Association of Employers in Croatian Hospitality, the Croatian Employers’ Association, and top local employers such as Valamar Hotels and Hilton Imperial Dubrovnik. This ensures that the curriculum aligns with the latest market demands and trends in the tourism industry.

The concept underlying the development of the programme is based on the needs of the labour market in the private sector, which requires specific forms of activity tailored to the character of the tourism products offered by hotels, restaurants, campsites, tourist resorts, travel agencies, tourism organizations, and other stakeholders within the tourism offer. Graduates holding a master’s degree in this field are therefore well prepared to find employment across a wide spectrum of tourism and hospitality businesses.

Students gain specialized knowledge and practical competences, preparing them for competitive roles in tourism, hospitality, and related sectors. Through partnerships with national and international associations such as World Tourism Organization (UNWTO) and International Hotel & Restaurant Association (IH&RA), the programme remains aligned with global standards and contemporary industry trends. Additionally, the Faculty actively engages with the local community and industry experts to continuously enhance the quality, relevance, and practical orientation of the study programme.
