Danish Ambassador Visits the University of Dubrovnik and Delivers a Lecture at the Faculty of Media and Public Relations

H.E. Ole Henrik Frijs-Madsen, Ambassador of the Kingdom of Denmark to the Republic of Croatia, visited the University of Dubrovnik and the Faculty of Media and Public Relations on April 30, where he was welcomed by Vice-Rector for Science and Sustainability, Prof. Marijana Pečarević, PhD, and Dean of the Faculty of Media and Public Relations, Assoc. Prof. Romana John, PhD.

During his visit, the Ambassador delivered a lecture at the Faculty of Media and Public Relations on Denmark, its core values, society, economy, and international role. He also reflected on his diplomatic experience, his current role in Croatia, and his previous postings in other countries.

The lecture was attended by students of the Faculty of Media and Public Relations, students of the Faculty of Economics, as well as Erasmus+ students. During and after the lecture, the Ambassador answered numerous questions, giving students the opportunity to learn more about Denmark, diplomacy, and international relations.

As part of the visit, the Ambassador was also introduced to the work of the University’s student media, UNIDU Radio and UNIDU TV. On that occasion, he was presented with students’ practical activities in radio and television journalism, media production, and editorial work within student-run media outlets.
