First Day at the University will take place on Monday, October 5, at the University of Dubrovnik campus (Branitelja Dubrovnika 41) and is compulsory for all first-year students. The programe is designed to provide first-year students with all the essential information about their studies, class schedules, extracurricular activities and other topics important at the start of university life.

The program will begin at 10:00 a.m. in the Lower Amphitheatre on campus. The opening part will include a formal ceremony, the presentation of the Rector’s Awards for the best student achievements in research and professional work, as well as sporting achievements, and University students will present first-year students with the most important information for the first days of study.

At 10:45 a.m., faculty and department stands will be set up in front of the campus, where first-year students will have the opportunity to meet staff and students from their respective faculties and departments.

At 11:15 a.m., separate programs will begin in the campus classrooms.

At 11:45 a.m., the official programe will be followed by an informal gathering with a welcome cocktail and DJ in front of the campus.
