On 25 February 2021, Sanja Zoranić, (mag. soc. geront.), Senior Lecturer at the study of Nursing of the University of Dubrovnik, defended her doctoral dissertation ‘Life quality of elderly in rural and island areas of the Dubrovnik-Neretva County’ at the postgraduate university study of Social Gerontology at Alma Mater Europaea in Maribor. She acquired the academic title of a Doctor of Science, scientific area of biomedicine and healthcare, field of medical sciences.
