ABOUT THE PROGRAMME
Marine Navigation programme, which has been aligned both with the Bologna Declaration and the Navigational Code, is intended for all those who love the sea and distant ports.
Courses at this programme are taught in line with the highest world standards and have been verified by the International Maritime Organization (IMO). Authorizations granted are valid anywhere in the world.
Students attend the theoretical part of their lectures in specialized classrooms and laboratories. Navigation simulators, lifeboat, fire protection training facility, ship radio station and training and research vessel ‘Naše more’ (‘Our Sea’) enable a high-quality practical training. Marine Navigation programme educates students for professional and reliable handling of ships, crew, passengers and cargo as well as for management jobs in various land services related to maritime industry.PROGRAMME DURATION
PROGRAMME DURATION
The undergraduate university study programme in Marine Navigation lasts three years or six semesters (180 ECTS credits).

Upon the completion of this undergraduate programme, students are awarded the academic degree of a Bachelor (Baccalaureus) of Engineering in Marine Traffic with specialisation in Marine Navigation (univ. bacc. ing. naut.)

POSSIBILITY TO CONTINUE STUDIES
After graduating from the undergraduate programme, students have the possibility to continue their studies at the graduate university programme in Maritime Studies. After completing the graduate programme, they can study at the postgraduate university study programme in Maritime Studies.
