Memorandum of understanding with Princess Sumaya University of Technology

On Wednesday, February 22nd, 2023. prof.dr.sc. Nebojša Stojčić, vice-rector of University of Dubrovnik (UNIDU) and prof.dr.sc. Wejdan Abu Elhaija, president of the Princess Sumaya University of Technology (PSUT) have signed Memorandum of Understanding between these two institutions in Amman, Jordan. The signed agreement presents new step in cooperation between these two institutions that started with Erasmus+ Capacity Building in Higher Education project Elegant. Within Elegant project, a consortium of European universities under coordination of UNIDU’s research centre CREDO provides support to IT universities in Jordan and Lebanon in their curricula modernisation and in design of mechanisms intended to boost student employability. Signed agreement strengthens academic and research cooperation and opens possibilities for student and staff mobility between two institutions. Princess Sumaya University of Technology was founded in 1991. and it is owned by leading Jordanian research centre, Royal Scientific Society (RSS). It is specialised in areas of IT, communications and electronics. Several of its departments hold prestigious international accreditations. According to international rankings, it is ranked among 1000 best universities in the world and among 50 leading universities in Arab region.
