Renowned political scientist from DePaul University in Chicago, College of Liberal Arts and Social Sciences, Department of Political Science, and a longtime collaborator on joint academic programs, professor Richard P. Farkas, PhD, visited the University of Dubrovnik and the Faculty of Media and Public relations on March 13.

Professor Farkas was welcomed by professor Mato Brautović, PhD, Vice-Rector for Internationalization, Public relations, and Student standards, and Assistant professor Romana John, PhD, Dean of the Faculty of Media and Public relations.

During his visit, Professor Farkas held several working meetings with Professor Pero Maldini, PhD, regarding the organization of this year’s cycle of the Global Learning Experience program, as well as with several students who have previously participated in the program.

Additionally, Professor Farkas appeared on the student-run UNIDU Television and the local Libertas Television, where he provided commentary on the current political situation, including Russia’s aggression against Ukraine, U.S. foreign policy, and the engagement and political interest of young people.
