Scientific paper of Assistant Professor Srđan Vujičić, Head of Maritime Department, published in Q1 journal Ocean Engineering

Assistant Professor Srđan Vujičić, PhD, in cooperation with teachers from the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering and Naval Architecture in Zagreb (Ivana Gledić, Tamara Petranović, Ivan Ćatipović, Joško Parunov) and the Faculty of Maritime Studies in Split (Marko Katalinić, Petar Matić) published in the Q1 journal Ocean Engineering their scientific paper ‘Comparison of full-scale measurements and seakeeping calculations for two research vessels in the Adriatic Sea’

This paper describes measurements for two research vessels in the Adriatic Sea and the comparison of experimental results. The waves and vessel motions are simultaneously measures at sea. Sea surface elevation is measured using a buoy, freely floating near the vessel. The measurements of vessel motion are performed using motion sensors. The data are treated statistically and subjected to spectral analysis.
