
From 6- 8 May, the University of Dubrovnik had the pleasure of hosting Ms Ewa Dados-Jablonska, Director of the Communication and Marketing Centre at Lublin University of Technology, Poland.
Ms Dados-Jablonska is visiting Dubrovnik within the framework of the Erasmus+ mobility programme. During the visit, Ms. Dados-Jablonska met with the Vice-Rector, prof. Ph.D. sc. Mato Brautović, and Marijana Lujo, head of marketing at the University of Dubrovnik. She expressed a special interest in the structure of the University of Dubrovnik, the way work is organized in the field of public relations, as well as the daily communication activities carried out by the University.
She emphasised the value of exchanging practices and experiences between higher education institutions, particularly in the areas of visibility, advertising, and promotion. She also presented the work of the Communication and Marketing Centre at Lublin University of Technology, detailing how they promote their study programmes, the services and opportunities they provide for students, and the overall student living conditions in Lublin.
The conversation also touched on their development plans, with a strong focus on international cooperation and increasing student mobility. Ms Dados-Jablonska spoke highly of the University of Dubrovnik, praising its size, study offer, and the unique advantages of the city itself, including its safety and attractiveness for students. She described Dubrovnik as “a place where anyone would love to study” and expressed her hope that the strong partnership between the two universities would continue to grow through shared knowledge and mutual academic development.
Visits like this one highlight the importance of international collaboration in higher education and reaffirm the shared commitment to academic excellence and professional exchange.
