
By the decision of the Council of the European University Association (EUA) at its meeting held on 31 October 2025, the University of Dubrovnik has been admitted as an Individual Full Member of this prestigious organization.
By joining the EUA, the University of Dubrovnik gains the opportunity to participate in European initiatives, projects, and policies related to the development of higher education, science, and innovation, as well as access to a wide network of partners and resources.
Rector of the University of Dubrovnik, Prof. Nebojša Stojčić, Ph.D., emphasized that joining the European University Association represents an important step in further connecting the University of Dubrovnik with the European academic community:
‘Membership in the European University Association is a recognition of the quality of our work and an important step in further strengthening the international visibility of the University of Dubrovnik. It opens new opportunities for cooperation, knowledge exchange, and participation in shaping European policies in the field of higher education and science’.
The European University Association brings together more than 850 universities and national rectors’ conferences from 48 European countries and serves as the key voice of higher education and research in Europe. With this membership, the University of Dubrovnik further confirms its international recognition and strategic commitment to strengthening the quality of education, research, and international cooperation.
