Blended Intensive Programme for Library and International Office Staff

The University of the Azores is organising a Blended Intensive Programme (BIP) entitled “University Libraries: Building Bridges to Internationalisation”, implemented within the framework of the EUNICoast Alliance. The programme is intended for university library staff and international office staff and is carried out in partnership with ZUT and ULHN.

The on-site part of the programme will take place from 4 to 8 May 2026 in Ponta Delgada (Azores), while the virtual introductory session is scheduled for 27 April 2026.

The aim of the programme is to strengthen the role of university libraries in the internationalisation of higher education and to encourage the exchange of experiences and good practices among partner institutions within the EUNICoast Alliance.

Programme highlights:

  • sharing good practices among university libraries
  • study abroad opportunities fair

Key information:

  • Target group: library staff and international office staff
  • Number of participants: maximum of 20 (up to 3 participants per university, first come, first served)
  • Participation fee: free of charge; Erasmus+ mobility funding is available (existing mobility agreements required)
  • Working language: English (minimum recommended level B2)
