During the week of October 14th till October 19th, the University of Dubrovnik joined the #ErasmusDays event by organizing Info Days for students and staff.
Info Day for numerous interested students from all university faculties and departments was held on October 14th at the Student Dormitory. The opportunities offered by the Erasmus+ programme were presented, including studying at foreign universities and internships abroad. Erasmus coordinator Nikolina Potrebica explained the application process, required documents, and funding options, including a new travel cost support feature. The EDUHome project, which aims to facilitate finding accommodation, was also introduced. Former Erasmus students shared their experiences, highlighting how the program broadened their horizons, helped them make new friends, and develop intercultural skills.
The info day for University staff, held on October 16th, provided insights into Erasmus+ projects, professional development, and international consortiums. The event was opened by the Rector Nebojša Stojčić, followed by presentations from Maja Brnas, Head of the Projects and Technology Transfer Office, and Ivana Grkeš, Assistant from the Faculty of media and public relations , who discussed ongoing Erasmus projects and offered useful project tips.
The Vice Rector for for Quality, Ethics and Strategic Development, Katija Vojvodić, shared the experiences of the CREDO Center, while Erasmus coordinator Nikolina Potrebica introduced the staff to Erasmus+ KA171 projects. Projects were also presented by Vlasta Bartulović from the Department of Applied Ecology, Iris Lobaš Kukavičić from the Department of Art and Restoration, and Ana Kešelj Dilberović from the Faculty of Electrical Engineering and Applied Computing.
The event enabled participants to network, exchange ideas, and plan future projects, promoting international mobility and collaboration between the university and industry.
