As part of the lifelong learning and training programs at the Maritime Faculty of the University of Dubrovnik, a Basic Safety Training course in English was successfully delivered for the employees of the passenger shipping company CroisiEurope.

This was the first group of participants – five candidates from France – and the program is conducted under an agreement concluded between the University and the company. With this step, the University further confirms its international recognition and opens the door for continued cooperation and new participants in the future.

The course is carried out in accordance with the provisions of the Ordinance on Ranks and Certificates of Competency of Seafarers, as well as the requirements of the STCW Convention.

We look forward to welcoming new participants and to the continuation of lifelong learning programs at the University of Dubrovnik.
