Životopis:
Iris Mihajlović rođena je u Dubrovniku gdje je završila osnovnu i srednju školu. 1995. godine diplomirala je na Fakultetu za turizam i vanjsku trgovinu u Dubrovniku. Ostvarivši svoj znanstveni interes u domeni strateškog upravljanja, na Ekonomskom fakultetu Sveučilišta u Splitu , 2000. godine završila je znanstveni poslijediplomski magistarski studij Management, te stekla titulu magistra ekonomskih znanosti. Doktorat znanosti iz područja društvenih znanosti, polja ekonomije, grane - trgovina i turizam stekla je 2012. godine na Ekonomskom fakultetu Sveučilišta u Zagrebu. 1995/ 96. bila je zaposlena u srednjoj Hotelijersko turističkoj školi u Dubrovniku kao nastavnik ekonomske grupe predmeta : Marketing u turizmu, Organizacija poslovanja hotelskih poduzeća, Politika i gospodarstvo. Od akademske 1997/1998. u kontinuitetu je zaposlena na Odjelu za ekonomiju i poslovnu ekonomiju Sveučilišta u Dubrovniku, na mjesto mlađeg asistenta, asistenta, docenta potom i izvanrednog profesora. Nositeljica je kolegija Menadžment turističkih agencija, Osnove marketinga, Marketing u turizmu na preddiplomskom studiju, na diplomskom studiju Poslovne ekonomije kolegija Menadžment turoperatora, Upravljanje manifestacijama, Marketing menadžment te Digitalizacija posrednika, Specijalizacija i tematizacija . Na Odjelu za restauraciju i konzervaciju Sveučilišta Dubrovnik nositeljica je kolegija Ekonomija kulture. Mentorica je više od 60 završnih I diplomskih radova. Od 2014. g. predsjednica je Povjerenstva za unapređenje i osiguravanje kvalitete na Odjelu za ekonomiju i poslovnu ekonomiju. Autorica je preko 50 znanstvenih radova u međunarodnim znanstvenim časopisima iz područja marketing menadžmenta, turizma s nalaskom na kanalima distribucije, digitalizaciji i njihovoj ulozi u posredništvu u dinamičnim tržišnim uvjetima. Stručni doprinos – savjetovanje i suradnja sa lokalnom zajednicom, stručni projekti. Članica je Ekonomskog Foruma istraživača za razvojnu politiku asocijacije American Association of International Researchers AAIR . Članica je uredništva časopisa Journal of Small Business and Enterpreunership Development, Editor-in-Chief: Dr. Keith D. Harris, Kansas State University USA, časopisa WSEAS Transactions of Business and Economics, časopisa American Journal of Theoretical and Applied Business, SPC, te specijalnog izdanja WSEAS Transactions on Development and Environment - Development and Survival of Companies in Conditions of Dynamic Changes and Environmental Uncertainties. Sudjelovala kao članica istraživačkog tima na više znanstvenoistraživačkih projekata, Ministarstva znanosti i tehnologije RH, te jednom Hrvatske zaklade za znanost (HRZZ) - Statistical Modelling for Response to Crisis and Economic Growth in Western Balkan Countries STRENGHTS. Sudjelujelovala je na međunarodnim znanstvenim i stručnim konferencijama uz 1 pozvano predavanje na IEEE International Conference on Applied Mathematics and Computer science (ICAMCS 2018) , 13 – 15 April, Paris.

Biography/CV:
Iris Mihajlović, PhD, graduated at the Faculty of Tourism and Foreign Trade, today's Department of Economics and Business Economics, University of Dubrovnik. She recieved her MSc Degree in Economics for Management at Faculty of Economics – Split, PhD degree in Economics, Trade and Tourism, Faculty of Economics and Business, University of Zagreb. Since 1998 she has been lecturing at Department of Economics and Business Economics in Dubrovnik - University of Dubrovnik, teaching courses up to graduate level in Marketing, Management and Tourism, holding currently the title of an Associate Professor. She has been teaching courses Tour Operators Management, Management of Travel Agencies, Basics of Marketing, Marketing in Tourism, Marketing Management, Management of cultural products in both English and Croatian. At undergraduate professional study of Hotel Industry she teaches Marketing Management in Hotel Industry, Distribution Channels in Hotel Industry. She mentored more than 60 master students and participated at scientific projects - Project MZT RH (1997 – 2001) Strategy of the Development of Dubrovnik-Neretva County; Project Croatia on the European Tourism Market in the Conditions of Globalization (9 / 2002-9 / 2006); Project STRENGTHS, IP-2013-9402 (2014-2019) by Croatian Science Foundation, and professional projects - "Tourism Development Strategy and Cruise Tourism Terms in the City of Dubrovnik“, granted by the City of Dubrovnik; "Rural, Educational, Cultural - Ethnographic Tourist Attraction" by Ministry of Regional Development and EU Funds. From 2014 - President of the Commission for Internal Quality Assurance and Enhancement System at the Department of Economics and Business Economics. She participated as an invited lecturer at international conferences, reviewed more articles for scientific conferences and published over 60 papers in scientific journals as well as two chapters in the books.
