Životopis:
Prof. dr. sc. Ivona Vrdoljak Raguž rođena je u Splitu 1979. Magistrirala je na poslijediplomskom studiju Poslovna ekonomija u turizmu Sveučilišta u Splitu 2005. godine, a titulu doktorice znanosti stekla je 2009. godine na Ekonomskom fakultetu Sveučilišta u Splitu. 0d 2002. godine zaposlena je na Fakultetu za turizam i vanjsku trgovinu Sveučilišta u Splitu, a nakon osnivanja Sveučilišta u Dubrovniku 2003. godine na Odjelu za ekonomiju i poslovnu ekonomiju. 2019. godine izabrana je u zvanje redovite profesorice. Bila je prorektorica za poslovanje Sveučilišta u Dubrovniku. U dva mandata bila je pročelnica Odjela za ekonomiju i poslovnu ekonomiju Sveučilišta u Dubrovniku. U jednom mandatu bila je predsjednica Vijeća studija Financijski menadžment na Sveučilištu u Dubrovniku. Bila je članica Senata Sveučilišta u Dubrovniku, članica Povjerenstva za unutrašnji sustav osiguravanja i unapređenja kvalitete na Sveučilištu u Dubrovniku kao i članica radne skupine za pilot programske ugovore na Sveučilištu u Dubrovniku. Također je bila i članica Projektnog tima za pripremu i provedbu investicije „Kompleks studentskog doma Sveučilišta u Dubrovniku“zadužena za financije. U ožujku 2015. na četverogodišnji mandat imenovana je članicom Savjeta za financiranje znanstvene djelatnosti i visokog obrazovanja Nacionalnog vijeća za znanost. Dugogodišnja je tajnica, a od 2020. voditeljica programa cjeloživotnog obrazovanja: Seminar i stručni ispit za turističke vodiče na Sveučilištu u Dubrovniku. Autorica je više od 100 znanstvenih i stručnih radova iz područja organizacije i menadžmenta u zemlji i inozemstvu. Deset je puta sudjelovala u ERASMUS + programu mobilnosti nastavnika (Velika Britanija, Portugal, Španjolska, Italija, Poljska, Češka, Malta, Makedonija, Litva i Slovenija). Bila je i dobitnica stipendije Ekonomskog fakulteta Sveučilišta Mendel u Brnu, Češka na kojem je kao gostujuća profesorica boravila u svibnju 2018. Boravila je i na Ekonomskom fakultetu Sveučilišta u Valenciji u Španjolskoj u svrhu znanstveno-nastavnog usavršavanja. U akademskoj 2019/2020 bila je gostujuća profesorica na Ekonomskom fakultetu Sveučilišta na Malti. Nositeljica je brojnih kolegija na Sveučilištu u Dubrovniku iz područja organizacije i menadžmenta, kao i na doktorskim studijima u zemlji i inozemstvu. Bila je mentorica jednoj doktorandici na Ekonomskom fakultetu Sveučilišta u Splitu, a trenutno je mentorica jednoj doktorandici u inozemstvu. Bila je i mentorica na preko 100 završnih i diplomskih radova. Radila je kao voditeljica i suradnica na 6 europskih, 6 nacionalnih (MZO) i 5 regionalnih i lokalnih projekata. Predsjednica je organizacijskog odbora međunarodne znanstvene konferencije DIEM te glavna urednica časopisa DIEM. Članica je brojnih programskih i organizacijskih odbora znanstvenih skupova, uređivačkih odbora znanstvenih časopisa i recenzentica za brojne domaće i inozemne časopise, te domaće i inozemne znanstvene skupove, kao i znanstvenih knjiga i udžbenika.

Biography/CV:
Professor Ivona Vrdoljak Raguž was born in Split in 1979. She received her master's degree in Business Economics in Tourism from the University of Split in 2005, and her doctorate in 2009 at the Faculty of Economics, University of Split. In 2002 she was employed at the Faculty of Tourism and Foreign Trade of the University of Split, and after the foundation of the University of Dubrovnik in 2003 at the Department of Economics and Business Economics. In 2019, she was elected full professor. She was the Vice-Rector for Business at the University of Dubrovnik. For two terms she was the Head of the Department of Economics and Business at the University of Dubrovnik. In one term she was the President of the Council of study program Financial Management at the University of Dubrovnik. She was a member of the Senate of the University of Dubrovnik, a member of the Commission for Internal Quality Assurance and Improvement System at the University of Dubrovnik and a member of the working group for pilot program contracts at the University of Dubrovnik. She was also a member of the Project Team for the preparation and implementation of investments "Student Dormitory Complex of the University of Dubrovnik" in charge of finances. In March 2015, a member of the Council for the Financing of Scientific Activities and Higher Education of the National Council for Science was appointed for a four-year term. She has been a secretary for many years, and since 2020 she has been the head of the lifelong learning program: Seminar and professional exam for tourist guides at the University of Dubrovnik. She is the author of more than 100 scientific and professional papers in the field of organizations and management in the country and abroad. He has participated in the ERASMUS + teacher mobility program ten times (UK, Portugal, Spain, Italy, Poland, Czech Republic, Malta, Macedonia, Lithuania and Slovenia). She was also the recipient of a scholarship from the Faculty of Economics of the University of Mendel in Brno, Czech Republic, where she visited as a visiting professor in May 2018. She also visited the Faculty of Economics at the University of Valencia in Spain for scientific and teaching training. In the 2019/2020 academic year, she was a visiting professor at the Faculty of Economics, University of Malta.She teaches numerous courses at the University of Dubrovnik in the field of organization and management, as well as in doctoral studies in the country and abroad. She was a mentor to a doctoral student at the Faculty of Economics, University of Split, and is currently a mentor to a doctoral student abroad. She has also mentored over 100 final and graduate theses. She has worked as a leader and collaborator on 6 European, 6 national (MZO) and 5 regional and local projects. She is the president of the organizing committee of the international scientific conference DIEM and the editor-in-chief of the journal DIEM.
