Title: Point interaction on domains – spectral properties and approximation

Abstract:
This talk presents a rigorous framework for modeling point interactions in bounded domains. It is shown how such singular
interactions can be obtained as limits of Schrödinger operators with short-range potentials. The approach relies on analytical tools from spectral theory and operator analysis, providing a precise connection between regular and singular models. The results offer a mathematical foundation for studying quantum systems with impurities and have applications in condensed matter physics and effective many-body theories.
