The EUNICoast consortium is thrilled to announce the launch, in December 2025, of a series of bimonthly Webinars – “Bridging R&I among Coastal Regions”, designed to strengthen scientific and academic cooperation between partner universities and their Teaching and Research Hubs (T&R Hubs).
This initiative is focused on promoting Researcher’s networking opportunities, aiming to provide a dynamic platform for knowledge exchange, showcasing best practices, and identifying new opportunities for collaboration under Horizon Europe and other EU funding programmes. Each session will be organized by one of the five T&R Hubs, with up to five speakers presenting their research lines, ongoing projects, strategic priorities and proposals for cooperation. Presentations will be followed by space for discussion, fostering synergies across the network.
The five T&R Hubs and their thematic areas and their corresponding webinars dates are:
1. Identities, Local Knowledge, and Cultural Heritage in Islands & Coastal Communities – preserving cultural identities and traditional knowledge to enhance resilience and safeguard heritage.
• December 3rd, 2025 | October 11th, 2026

Participation is free and open to the consortium academic communities and R&I regional ecosystems. Registration is available via: https://forms.gle/179ptRVEmBi5bpKA9
The EUNICoast is a European University Alliance funded by Erasmus+ under the European Universities Initiative. It brings together a diverse group of coastal universities across European seas, including both continental and island members. The alliance addresses the unique challenges and opportunities of these regions, integrating sustainability, education, research, innovation, and community engagement.
