The Neurobusiness international conference was held at the University of Dubrovnik campus on 18–19 September 2025, bringing together more than forty distinguished scientists and experts from around the world. Over the two-day programme, participants explored how neuroscience can enhance business processes and how the latest research can contribute to a better understanding of consumer behaviour, marketing communication, and business decision-making.
The conference was opened by the Chair of the Organising Committee, Prof. Ivana Pavlić, Professor at the Faculty of Economics of the University of Dubrovnik. Special interest was generated by lectures delivered by renowned neuroscientists Prof. Moran Cerf (Columbia University) and Prof. Gideon Nave (Wharton University), who presented their latest research on the intersection of neuroscience and business.
The conference programme included lectures and panel discussions on neuromarketing, consumer behaviour, emotional responses, the role of artificial intelligence in education, and new technologies for tracking attention and engagement. A special iMotions session was also held, along with a workshop by Prof. Cerf specifically designed for doctoral students.
In addition to the scientific programme, participants enjoyed a guided tour of Dubrovnik’s Old Town and a joint dinner, providing an excellent opportunity for informal networking and exchange of ideas in the unique setting of Dubrovnik.
