Adriatic Mariculture 2026 – II. znanstveno-stručni skup posvećen marikulturi u Jadranskom moru
Ston, 20. ožujka 2026.
Ovogodišnji skup održat će se 20. ožujka 2026. u Malom Stonu, u okviru Dana malostonske kamenice – nezaobilaznog višednevnog događaja posvećenog malostonskoj kamenici, ishodištu i prvoj dami jadranske marikulture.
Skup okuplja znanstvenike, stručnjake, proizvođače, predstavnike institucija, tijela javne uprave i organizacija civilnog društva s ciljem razmjene znanja, iskustava i primjera dobre prakse u području marikulture i zaštite morskog okoliša. Poseban naglasak stavlja se na interdisciplinarni i sveobuhvatni pristup razvoju marikulture, koji uključuje ekološke, tehnološke, gospodarske i društvene aspekte ove važne djelatnosti.
Cilj skupa je potaknuti dijalog i suradnju svih dionika kako bi razvoj marikulture u Jadranskom moru bio uspješan, odgovoran i dugoročno održiv, uz očuvanje prirodnih resursa i tradicionalnih vrijednosti lokalne zajednice.

Adriatic Mariculture 2026 – 2nd Scientific and Professional Conference on Mariculture in the Adriatic Sea

This year’s conference will be held on March 20, 2026, in Mali Ston, as part of the Days of the Mali Ston Oyster – a landmark multi-day event dedicated to the Mali Ston oyster, the origin and first lady of Adriatic mariculture.
The conference brings together scientists, experts, producers, representatives of institutions, public authorities, and civil society organisations with the aim of exchanging knowledge, experience, and examples of good practice in the fields of mariculture and marine environmental protection. Special emphasis is placed on an interdisciplinary and comprehensive approach to the development of mariculture, encompassing ecological, technological, economic, and social aspects of this important activity.
The goal of the conference is to encourage dialogue and cooperation among all stakeholders in order to ensure that the development of mariculture in the Adriatic Sea is successful, responsible, and sustainable in the long term, while preserving natural resources and the traditional values of the local community.
